Christopher D. Le Roy

Christopher is the team leader for The Le Roy Financial Group. Christopher is an experienced Financial Planner, Investment Advisor and Insurance Advisor. Christopher became an Wealth Advisor after working for one of Canada's premier investment management firms; prior to that Christopher was an Insurance Advisor with one of Canada's major banks.

Christopher believes in a multidisciplinary approach to personal finance and wealth management. To ensure comprehensive and effective wealth management he utilizes investment management, retirement planning, tax planning, insurance and estate planning. Christopher resides in Toronto with his wife; he is an active participant in the community and enjoys playing squash, golf, cricket and spending time with family.

Susan Le Roy

Susan has been a financial planner for almost twenty years. Many of her clients are women who have just gone through a life-changing event (death of a spouse, divorce, retirement). She became a financial planner after a number of years in education and as a consultant, focusing on strategic planning. Susan has an MBA in Investment Management and holds both her Certified Financial Planner and Registered Financial Planner designations.

Susan also specializes in working with men and women who are retired or nearing retirement. Her goal is to work together with each client to develop a plan for a secure financial future and comfortable retirement.

Ingrid Sojka

Ingrid joined the Le Roy Financial Group in 2012. She graduated with a Master of Business Science degree, specializing in Banking, from Economic University of Bratislava, Slovakia.  She has completed relevant investment industry courses and is currently working towards her Certified Financial Planner (CFP) Designation.
Ingrid began her career in the investment industry in 2003 at the retail banking level and joined ScotiaMcLeod in 2006. Ingrid is a fully licensed Investment Representative and is responsible for the administration of our client portfolios.
On her time off Ingrid enjoys spending time with her husband and their two daughters.

Mary Ellen Dewis · Branch Manager, Associate Director

Mary Ellen joined ScotiaMcleod in 2001 as a Branch Administrator. She worked in this capacity for 5 years. During this time she was recognized as Scotia’s “Best of the Best” in 2004 and was the recipient of the “Branch Administrator of the Year” in 2005. In 2006 she was made an Assistant Branch Manager in one of the downtown branches at Scotia Plaza. This year Mary Ellen was granted the title of Associate Director in recognition of her ongoing contribution to ScotiaMcleod. Prior to her career with ScotiaMcLeod she worked at McCarthy Tetrault in various capacities over an eight year period. Mary Ellen is a graduate of The University of Toronto, is the mother of four children, and an avid golfer.

Camille Kanhai · Senior Will and Estate Planner

Camille KanhaiCamille is a graduate of the Bachelor of Laws program at the University of the West Indies and is a graduate of the Bachelor of Science program at the University of Southampton, England. She attended Osgoode Hall Law School at York University and was called to the Ontario Bar in 1986. Memberships include the Law Society of Upper Canada and the Canadian Bar Association.She joined the Scotiabank Group in 1986 as a Tax and Legal Officer with Personal Trust, where she worked for eight years before pursuing a teaching role at an elementary school. Camille recently rejoined the Bank in 2006 as a Senior Will and Estate Planner. Camille is responsible for providing advice and guidance to clients for their will and estate planning strategies.

Ian Adams · Senior Financial Planning Consultant

Ian AdamsIan has extensive experience providing financial planning advice to clients with complex and sophisticated needs and goals. He draws on the breadth of expertise that he has developed over his 17 years in the financial sector.

Ian has obtained the Master of Business Administration degree from Queen’s University. In addition to this, he holds the Certified Financial Planner designation, the Financial Management Advisor designation and has completed the Canadian Securities Course through the Canadian Securities Institute. Memberships include the Financial Planning Standards Council.
